Ireland looks set for its highest tax take of all time

b'Ireland\\u2019s tax receipts for the first 10 months of the year have hit almost \\u20ac64 billion, 25% ahead of the figure this time last year. \\n\\nThe strong figures were driven by record corporation tax receipts, which came in at \\u20ac16.2 billion for the 10-month period, six and a half billion ahead of this time last October. Ireland\\u2019s total tax take could break the \\u20ac80 billion figure by the end of the year for the first time ever. \\n\\nMichael McGrath Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform spoke to Newstalk Breakfast.'
