Stephen Strasburg struck out nine batters in seven innings in a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies this afternoon in Citizens Bank Park, but the Washington Nationals dropped the second game of the doubleheader, 8-5 and had their eight-game win streak come to an end.
