Reynaldo Lopez gave up a run in the first, then kept the Atlanta Braves off the board through seven as the Washington Nationals piled on runs in what ended up a closer-than-expected 7-6 win. Lopez earned his first MLB win. Mark Melancon had to come on to close it out after the Braves threatened in the ninth. Trea Turner had a big day on the offensive end, finishing a double short of a cycle and the Nationals improved to 68-47 on the season with one more to play with the Braves tomorrow.
