Trevor Bauer outdueled Max Scherzer, who flirted with a no-hitter again tonight, and the Cleveland Indians beat the Washington Nationals, 3-1 in the nation’s capital. It was a tough way for things to go for Scherzer, who struck out 10 and passed 200 strikeouts on the season for the fifth straight season.
