The Washington Nationals scored nine runs on 14 hits and beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 9-3 tonight in PNC with Ian Desmond, Michael Taylor and Yunel Escobar all connecting for multiple hits in support of Gio Gonzalez. The Nats knocked A.J. Burnett around again and stopped a two-game slide.
