Nats Nightly: Nationals 5-3 over Marlins; Bryce Harper gets his pitch and homers

Washington Nationals' slugger Bryce Harper didn't get much to hit, but Miami Marlins' reliever Kyle Barraclough left a 3-2 slider up in the zone in the seventh and Harper made him pay with a two-run blast that ended up being the game-winner. 5-3 final in the nation's capital. Harper's 11th was a two-run blast in the seventh that put the Nationals ahead 4-2 before the Marlins got within one. Chris Heisey put the Nats back up by two with a pinch hit homer in the 8th. Nationals now 22-13.
