Afghan Information Dissemination Operations, otherwise known as AIDO, have a significant but often overlooked role in the Afghan army. This AIDO course held at Kabul international military airport focused on teaching the officers how to build credibility with the public and combat disinformation from enemy forces. The culmination of the course was a practical exercise involving various simulations of real life exercises, including responding to a violent crowd and negotiating with villagers.
