Securing Sangin

One of our reporters, Laurence Cameron, has managed to embed with the Afghan National Army (ANA) in Sangin, in the week leading up to the Afghan presidential elections. Sangin is one of the most volatile districts in Helmand. Laurence films the ANA as they conduct large clearing operations in and around the district to try to secure the area for people to be able to turn out and vote in the elections. Teaser: Days before the Afghan presidential elections and the Afghan army have been securing areas around the volatile district of Sangin in Helmand, to allow people to vote this Saturday.
