Russian Observers Visit NATO Exercise

Russian observers visited a training area in Teulada during the NATO Exercise Trident Juncture 2015. Lt. Col. Yuri Praskovin, the Inspector Team Leader, Col. Valentin Barykin, Lt. Col. Oleg Lozhkyn and 1st Lt. Yuri Sukhanov attended. In line with Allies’ international obligations under the Vienna Document, Trident Juncture 2015 was announced in advance. OSCE observers were invited six weeks before the exercise. Six OSCE countries have confirmed they will send observers: Russia, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Montenegro.
