Human Cost: The Mother
Afghanistan has suffered more than thirty years of violence and anarchy. The collapse of the brutal Taliban regime has offered the country a brighter future, but at a tremendous cost in human lives. Every single victim was somebody’s father or mother, brother or sister, husband or wife, son or daughter. Every one of them will be missed. And we will remember them.
