Qubad Talabani: The Iraqi Council of Ministers released the region’s share of the budget
Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Wednesday that the Federal Council of Ministers decided to release the region’s share of the financial budget for the year 2021.
In a speech today on the sidelines of the HITEX exhibition in Erbil, Talabani said: The Iraqi Council of Ministers decided yesterday to launch the region’s budget (..) We hope that this step will be a new page in the relations between Baghdad and Erbil.
He also added: We hope that this step will ease the challenges facing the region.
