On this episode, George talks about the importance of dealing with our emotions, and more specifically our uncomfortable emotions. Uncomfortable emotions are important for us. They help us grow by allowing us to look within ourselves and question why we are feeling this way.

What are uncomfortable emotions:

  • Fear: Our untaught, instinctive reaction to a known threat.

  • Worry: Repetitive and recurring thoughts - sometimes in an attempt to avoid even more uncomfortable feelings.
  • \\n
  • Anxiety: Unwarranted or excessive fear, especially about vague or unknown things.
  • \\n
  • Stress: The perceived inability to meet life\\u2019s demands.
  • \\n

George talks about the Coping mechanisms when you have the power to change things and the Coping mechanisms when circumstances cannot be changed.

Finally, George talks about the Benefits of Stress - as long as it is in healthy doses. Benefits like boosting our immune system!
