Argentinian marine biologist Dr. Rodolfo Werner discusses his work with the Antarctic Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC) to defend the small crustaceans against overfishing.

Krill are a primary food source for penguins, whales, seals, and a host of other creatures living in the waters surrounding Antarctica. Protecting them is a necessary priority for the Southern Ocean food web to remain intact.
