He\\u2019s back: My old friend Ken Druse is here after too many months of absence, and our subject is the surprises our gardens have offered so far this spring, from extra-bountiful roses to not-so-welcome spongy moth caterpillars, aka gypsy moths.\\xa0
\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nYou all know Ken Druse, author of 20 garden books, keen propagator and plant collector. And for much of the last year he\\u2019s also been my colleague in our online Virtual Garden Club, the latest semester of which just ended. So I\\u2019ve been getting to talk to him all the time \\u2013 but you haven\\u2019t heard from him in a bit, which is something we\\u2019ll correct today.
