The waking dream

The experience of waking up from a nightmare seems effortless and obvious. Our eyes open and we see that it was just a dream even if there are lingering feelings and reactions moving through our body/mind. Could it be that this is exactly what happens when we question a story and see that it is not true? As Tom puts it, efforting comes from thinking, from the thought-identified self, from the mind. Whereas realization comes from that which is already free - and it's effortless. Join us, as we experience what it is to wake up to the truth of who we are.
