In part 2 of our 3\\u2013part series \\u201cMeet me at the Intersection of\\u2026\\u201d, we have guest host Ramya Amuthan, and her guest Ben Akuoko.
\\nBen is a 33-year-old black man who lives with Retinitis Pigmentosa. He is currently working at the CNIB (GTA) as a Program Lead for Advocacy and Accessibility. He was diagnosed with the eye condition at the age of 2 years old. Ben and Ramya discuss Ben\\u2019s experience growing up with RP, how he\\u2019s grown as a listener, and the steps he takes to take care of himself. He also delves into the intersections of culture, race and disability from his own experience of them; and some of the limitations and problems that organizations and institutions run into when they focus too much on one aspect of someone\'s identity.
