Blanca is a host for the Real Beauty Real Women show.\\xa0 She joined the city of Houston's HTV in 2016 and quickly moved into an HTV Correspondent role for their social media platforms, as well as for on-air personality.\\xa0 Before joining HTV, Blanca worked at ABC13 for 18 years.\\xa0 She began as a news writer, and then transitioned into a producer for the Debra Duncan show eventually forming part of the digital department for the last 12 years at ABC13.\\xa0\\xa0\\nBlanca was born in south Texas, but Houston has been home most of her life.\\xa0 She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism at the University of Houston.\\xa0 Blanca is also a fitness instructor at Champions Club and loves sharing her life-long passion for health and fitness.\\xa0 She is currently a board member for a non-profit, Thrive Pro Bono, which offers assistance to the community in need.\\xa0 In her spare time, she enjoys her family, volunteering, yoga, tennis, and running, as she has completed seventh Houston Aramco Half Marathons and currently training for her eighth."
