This week on the podcast we are talking all about TRIGGERS! Woo!
\\nBasically triggers are anything that cause an emotional upset within you, whether that\'s annoyed, angry, frustrated or something else.
\\nYou can be triggered by people, comments, situations, literally anything.
\\nTriggers are a sign that something is unhealed within you, they are your opportunity to look within yourself and do some healing work.
\\nAs a society we tend to "deal" with triggers by over eating, drinking, scrolling social media, working out, spending time with people, too much nextflix, etc. etc. etc.
\\nThe problem is, while avoiding your triggers can "feel good" temporarily, they stay hidden in your subconscious mind. They manifest in sneaky ways that you aren\'t even aware of (cue 3 life situations that were all stemming from the same internal trigger).
\\nFind a way to talk to your triggers so you can better understand them. Talk to them the same way you would talk to a little kid or your best friend. Tell them that the situation sucks and you\'re sorry and ask how you can be supportive.
