The math was triple-checked, the machines were calibrated, and the animal testing had been a success. He wished he had someone by his side to celebrate. Soon, that wish would come true. He pulled the lever.
The super-magnet emitted a whomping sound like a mating call going out into the world. If he couldn\\u2019t be a chick magnet, he wanted to build one. It had to work!
Suddenly, a long, slender, feminine arm slapped against the wall of the machine, torn away from its owner. Then someone\\u2019s foot. Someone else\\u2019s arm. A head. Two. Three. So many more.
He fell to his knees as a wave of flesh blanketed the horizon.
