Hoopoes lay smelly eggs.

Like their namesake, unless I\\u2019m pronouncing it wrong, they\\u2019re a bird that will lay a smelly, brown fluid across their egg batch, to kind of prevent predators and stuff from wanting to look at them, because they\\u2019re so nasty and disgusting. It makes them smell like bacteria and rotting meat. I remember in the summer, you did not want to get outside the house when it got too warm, because of all the animals, so I can only imagine how repulsive these eggs seem. They\\u2019re normally blue, but they make them all gross and brown.
