b"Background and a major transformational moment
Anita Marler - Her transformation into success was faced with desperation. From a small farming community in Alberta, Canada, at the age of 25 I moved out to Vancouver on the West Coast.
Shock Her Life Turns Upside Down.
In 2006, Anita Marler had a Brain Aneurysms, and as many of you know the statistics for brain aneurysms are people statistically either die or their life is altered. They end up of some type of disability and very few walk away from it unscathed. She was one of those few that walked away from it unscathed. It was a big reality check.
Re-assessment
I started to examine my life and realize that I really wasn't happy, and all these things that I've wanted to do were somewhere in the distance. I really wasn't happy with that. So, I decided that I would make some changes. I changed everything in my life. In the beginning it wasn’t so easy because I really didn’t know what I wanted and you know you are all talking about those ideas, but when you sit down and you start to actually figure out if you could have and do and be anything you wanted what would that look like. So, it’s a bit of a process and a big learning process for that matter. In the first few years, I didn’t have any idea where I would end up but I knew that it was going to be better that where I was. So, I started on the journey and my background was in Psyche Nursing. I studied lots of books on self-help and how to be the best you can be and motivational and all that sort of things. But a lot of it I really hadn’t taken and put it into practice. What I’ve done is, you read the information and you get all this wonderful head knowledge, but you don’t actually take the actions steps required for you to actually live that kind of life. So when I got sick, I said you know what, no more, I’m going to actually do what I need to do to be the person I want to be and have the life that I want to have. I’ll tell you it’s been the most amazing journey full of blessings and coincidences and miracles and people that I could have ever imagine. A lot of twist and turns, it’s been very exciting.

Lights go off to a new adventure

A couple of years ago, people started to come and ask me what I was doing because they knew me when I was kind of down and… so to speak. My husband and I had split up, I didn’t have a lot of money, I’d started a new career, bought a house, had no furniture in it, you name it, it was a pretty rough go. But, they saw me living this life and you know driving a beautiful car, I’m in an amazing relationship. I’m doing okay financially and they’re all starting to come in to me and ask me what are you doing. So at that point in time, I started to help other people to find their path and their dream and goals and work with them and help them and help them to make that a reality.

Thomas: That’s a beautiful story. I’d like to back track it to a couple of things. One of which was, you said you were searching out to find a little bit of yourself and the things, as you called them weaknesses or problems and things that you had to overcome in order to build this dream. How did you identify what things you needed to do or learn?

The Dreams and Visions Started
Anita :
Well, the first thing I realized is, all the things that I wanted. I mean I took a little notebook and I started to play a game. I would just sit down and would say if time and money were have no consequence, where would I be living? What would I be doing? What would I…. All the details in my life, I would kind brainstorm a little bit. What I found was the 2 big obstacles that always got in the way, was the time factor because you know, how am I going to do all this in a day and how I’m going to climb this big mountain, as well as financially. I mean obviously I wanted a great life but I didn’t have the financial resources to do it. So, I took those things out of the formula and started to just give myself permission to..."
