This past week, former president Trump was indicted on 37 counts by Special Counsel Jack Smith\'s investigation into classified records. Trump\'s legal team will most likely claim that the former president had an absolute legal right to possess those documents. They will claim that the DOJ under Biden had no legal predicate to start such a criminal investigation for what is obviously a civil matter.

\\n

This occurs in the same week that it has come to light that a trusted government informer has alleged that current president Biden has accepted $5M in bribes. This, if true would not only be an impeachable offence, but a criminal one as well. Many have found the timing of the Trump indictment to be a little too coincidental, given the serious nature of the evidence being presented against the President.

\\n

This is a dark day, a dark time for the Republic because now the political leader in power is now attempting to have his chief political opponent arrested. This is something we usually only see in third-world countries. This clearly shows the Democrats have no concern with being labeled as hypocrites. They, by their actions have shown they believe themselves above the law and their opponents, especially Trump, below it.
