The Worldwide Famine
Glory to God! Another prophecy fulfilled about the end times tribulation. The stage has been set for a worldwide famine so that you would believe.
You might want to get your high-powered temporarily blind and lasers ready to put up on your coastal redwood wall around your property and assume that you will not be able to rely on external inputs and that a whole bunch of your neighbors will be dead.
The zombie nightmare scenario is based on a simple set of numbers and indisputable facts.
If a worldwide crisis were to cause us to close our borders entirely, including from essential imports, how long would America survive?
How much of America would survive?
The picture is bleak and not for the faint of heart.
We would sustain a maximum of 200 million people in the most Pollyanna of assessments without 7 trillion dollars of Chinese solar panels and batteries, or trillions of dollars of foreign oil.
Just as a submarine has to occasionally come up for air and resupply, America has to come up for air and participate in the global economy no matter how bad things get. Otherwise there won't be in America.
What do the consequences look like? A worldwide famine for which the stage is already been set.
I walk you through the basic, back-of-the-napkin estimate of what you can reasonably expect to happen in the nightmare scenario that everyone is suddenly required to become a farmer or starve, why we are crushed between two forces:
An ever-increasing depletion of the water aquifers, which makes well drilling so expensive that you have to have a large farm to justify drilling one, and the anticipated de-mechanization of farming which would occur without sufficient hydrocarbons to run our current Agri-economic machinery.
The lack of farmers requires you to have pretty big farms. As big as possible. But a team of horses can only plow so many acres for a farmer. They can't work as many hours a day as your combine. Each horse needs a couple of acres of horse chow to keep working. Another reason why you need big farms.
You can't instantly double the number of farmers. It sometimes takes about a decade of mistakes before they can figure out how to grow food profitably. When the starving people are prioritizing the production of food, the value and therefore cost of productive farmland will go up.
But will any of the farmland be productive without pouring tons of nitrates, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides into it? There was a time when it was.
We are still living in a time when a small farmer can compete with giant producers using equipment pulled by horses.
It can cost up to $3,000 for the tack to equip one working horse. If you've got to work five hundred acres, you're going to need enough of horses and lots of pasture to feed them.
The high cost of equipment means you can't use a small horse. You need a big horse who can do a lot of work to pay for the handmade harness.
We don't have a lot of big draft horses in the United States and it would take a long time to import or breed them. So that means making lots of expensive harnesses for lots of small horses. Doing lots of training for a small horses that were not bred to do that job. Training those horses to do with they're not intended for is going to be an even bigger expense per horse, harnessing twice as many horses who do the work less efficiently.
Therefore the breeding of draft horses is an urgent matter of national security.
Energy efficiency and solar energy is a matter of national security.
Teaching more people to become farmers is a matter of national security.
And pretty much anything else we're doing leaves us as slaves to those who provide our oil, which will eventually run out some day. That's a guarantee.
Just like our water is running off our farms, eroding the soil, taking all those toxins into the freshwater lakes and streams.
The mass toxification of our freshwater lakes and streams is a matter of national security too.
