Late last week, Fr. David Tanko was killed in Nigeria on his way to mediate a peace agreement between the Tiv and Junkun people, two ethnic groups that have been violently fighting since April.  Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may your perptual light shine upon him for ever.  May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.  Amen.
