The California Public Utilities Commission told the Redwood Valley Municipal Advisory Council that the work around the powerlines on Road A off of Highway 20 \\u201cis not in violation of the rules or regulations of the CPUC,\\u201d and that the program reduces the risk of fire.\\nDolly Riley, chair of the Redwood Valley MAC, detailed the journey of the rural neighborhood\\u2019s attempt to get the utility to use some other means to increase safety.'
