Cannabis program meets with stakeholders

February 18 was the first Friday morning meeting, where applicants discussed fallowing permits, or what it means to take a break from cultivating without walking away from the program altogether. Much of the discussion revolved around taxes, since participants in one of the fallowing options would continue to be liable for the minimum cultivation tax. And some growers said they\\u2019d need a more gradual process for the fallowing to be beneficial.'
