Heidi Hall Returns From The National Association of Counties Conference

Nevada County\'s District 1 Supervisor, Heidi Hall, recently attended the National Association of Counties\' Annual Conference and Expo in Travis County, Texas. There, she accepted the "2023 NACo Achievement Award: Best in Category" on behalf of the Nevada County Office of Emergency Services (OES). The county stood out especially in the "Risk and Emergency Management" category due to its implementation of the Firewise Communities Microgrant Program,\\xa0which is the first of its kind.
