The San Diego Unified School District declared yesterday that students 16 and older must show proof of COVID-19 immunization to attend school in person, beginning next year. Yet, on Monday, The Rancho Santa Fe School District in San Diego County made masks optional for students despite a California Department of Public Health mandate that requires that all students, in grades K thought 12 wear masks while when sharing indoor spaces.
