On August 3rd, farmworkers organized by the The United Farm Workers began their 24 day, 335 mile, March for Voting Rights. The group started in Delano and plans to walk to the state capital in Sacramento to urge governor Gavin Newsom to sign a bill that would give farmworkers more voting options when casting a ballot for or against unionization.
