Broad Street In Nevada City Evacuated

On Wednesday afternoon, just before 1 p.m., the 200, 300, and 400 blocks of Broad Street were evacuated because of an explosive device. The Placer County Explosive Ordnance Demolition team was called to assist Nevada City PD with disposal. Afterwards, Nevada City\\u2019s interim Chief of Police, Ted Stec, made this statement.
