Does Eating Too Much White Rice Cause Diabetes?

b'Last year, the head of Singapore\'s Health Promotion Board announced new plans to fight diabetes that focus on educating the public on the health risks of eating white rice based on research data from the Harvard School of Public Health that links daily consumption of white rice to an increased risk of developing diabetes. Korea FM reporter Chance Dorland spoke with Harvard Professor Dr. Qi Sun & University of Sydney researcher Dr. Bruce Neal to learn more about how white rice has been linked to the disease.
