Nearly 35 years ago, Coloradan and just three years old, Lori Poland was kidnapped, sexually abused and left to die in an abandoned outhouse. Passing hikers heard her cries and rescued her. Now Poland has dedicated her adult life to helping others who have suffered trauma and has teamed up with her former pediatrician, Dr. Richard Krugman, to establish the National Foundation to End Child Abuse and Neglect (EndCAN).The goal of EndCAN is to end child abuse and neglect in our lifetime.
