Corbin Carson reports: The state Bureau of Cannabis Control has directed a company in Irvine to stop promoting illegal dispensaries.
b'Weedmaps, a company in Irvine that tells people where to find dispensaries, has been told to cease and desist. Alex Traverso with the state Bureau of Cannabis Control says the online-pot-mapping business is hurting legal dispensaries by also promoting unlicensed shops.
Traverso says the bureau has received about 375 complaints about unlicensed shops. Weedmaps has not responded to requests for comment.'
