Taste of Omaha Producer Says No Trouble at Their Festival
Mike Mancuso with Mid-America Expositions says contrary to reports trying to link the Taste of Omaha event last weekend to any of the fights or shooting downtown late Saturday evening are flatly untrue. Mancuso says the event closed at it's scheduled time at 11 PM and there were no incidents or fights at the festival. The Taste of Omaha was held at the Heartland of America Park and Lewis and Clark Landing, several blocks from the location of the fights and shooting that happened after the Taste of Omaha had closed for the night.
