Study: Opioids No Better Than Acetaminophen At Long Term Pain Control
A new federally funded study shows that strong painkillers including opioids are no better than acetaminophen in relieving chronic pain for chronic back pain, arthritis, etc. Dr. Michael Lankhorst, a pain medicine specialist with UNMC/Nebraska Medicine says medical professionals are not surprised by these results and explains why.
