Should the Farm Bill Ban Dogs and Cats As Food?
A couple of items in the new Farm Bill that we discussed with Rep. Don Bacon, who is a member of the House agriculture committee. One item is the politics behind an addition of work or job training requirement for many people who qualify for food stamps, with some exceptions. Bacon also talks about a portion of the bill that would add criminal penalties for engaging in any way in the dog and cat meat trade.
