Sen. Jim Smith Says Bill To Tax Internet Sales Is Flawed
State Senator Jim Smith (14th District) says LB 44 that is now up for final approval is a flawed bill and might not even be enacted depending on a U.S. Supreme Court ruling. Smith isn't opposed to taxing internet sales, just the burden that LB 44 would place on small internet sellers.
