Nebraska U.S. Senator Ben Sasse sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee that will hold hearings and vote on whether to advance Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court to the full Senate. Sasse says while there will be a lot of passionate opposition to Kavanaugh's nomination, he believes there could be as many as seven to nine Democrats whow ill vote to confirm Kavanaugh if the GOP can keep all 50 Republican Senators on board (Sen, John McCain would be the 51st Republican but his ability to vote is in doubt as he battles brain cancer).
