Omaha Water Safe After 230,000 Gallon Oil Spill
We spoke to MUD communications director Tracey Christensen just moments after the utility received word that a 230,000 gallon oil spill caused by a train derailment in northwest Iowa had been contained. Tracey told us what contingencies were in place in case the spill had threatened the water MUD takes from the Missouri River.
