Goldberg: American Democracy Is in Peril, But Can Still Be Saved
Conservative columnist and commentator Jonah Goldberg has written a new book, "Suicide of the West: How the Rebirth of Tribalism, Populism, Nationalism, and Identity Politics is Destroying American Democracy". Goldberg looks historically at how representative democracy was the greatest development to advance the human condition over the past 300 years, but the threats to that political system today could bring it's downfall if Americans and other western democracies aren't willing to fight for it.
