Details on the Riverfront Revitalization
A $300 million revitalization of the Gene Leahy Mall, Heartland of America Park, Lewis and Clark Landing and the River's Edge and Hanafan Parks in Council Bluffs was unveiled this week. Prominent Omaha businessman Ken Stinson is the co-chair of the riverfront revitalization committee. He answered some questions about the major project of which 80% of the cost would be paid for with private donations.
