Bill Would Require Liquor License for "Bottle Clubs"
City Councilwoman Aimee Melton testified in favor of LB 747. That bill would require "bottle Clubs" to get a liquor license even though they do not sell alcohol in the club, though customers are allowed to buy a membership and bring their own alcohol. Melton argues that these clubs which typically include nude entertainment or other sexual themes, need some degree of oversight.
