Bill Would Allow Small Food Vendors to Sell Beyond Farmer's Markets

Platte Institute's Nichole Fox testified in favor of LB 764 which would expand Nebraska's "Cottage Law" to allow food vendors who are currently limited to selling their products at Farmer's Markets to be able to sell out of their home or other venues. Currently anyone wanting to sell their products outside of Farmer's Markets have to use a commercial kitchen to prepare their product.
