No more valedictorian?

b"One school district in Ohio is doing away with its valedictorian and salutatorian honors as part of an effort to improve the \\u201cmental wellness\\u201d of its students, school officials say. Mason City Schools said the decision was made after a year-long study and focus groups with students, staff and families. \\u201cThis will help reduce the overall competitive culture at MHS to allow students to focus on exploring learning opportunities that are of interest to them,\\u201d Mason High School Principal Bobby Dodd said in a news release.
