The killing of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police has ignited waves of heated demonstrations that have swept across the Bay Area and the country. Of course protests against police brutality and calls for reform are nothing new, but many believe this moment is different. So on this edition of KCBS In Depth we consider what could be done to meet the demands of those who have been taking to the streets, from reforming police departments, to pushing for broader social changes outside of police work.
