I was recently reading the March/April 2024 issue of \u201cScience Scope,\u201d a publication of the National Science Teaching Association.
In this issue, I read the \u201cFrom the Editor\u2019s Desk\u201d column written by Patty McGinnis.\xa0 She wrote an article entitled, \u201c3D Assessment.\u201d
In the article she shared ideas about writing assessments aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards.\xa0 The National Research Council recommends that teachers utilize a combination of constructed response, selected response, and projects to assess three-dimensional learning.\xa0 She recommended two resources that provide tips for writing assessments.\xa0 They are:

and
\u201cThe NGSS Evidence Statements\u201d
