Could Sharing A Pizza Prevent A Suicide?

He believes that we are now experiencing a \\u201cculture of suicide.\\u201d To a large degree, hope depends on \\u2018the church\\u2019 and individual Christians who are willing to share and listen. \\n\\n\\u201cOne of the problems, and particularly in the last year as a country and as a world, is isolation. And as we\\u2019re beginning to come out of that, I think we\\u2019ve got to be intentional about extending hospitality to others. You know, you can go to a church and feel isolated, but when somebody says, \\u2018Hey, how about coming with me to get pizza or coming to my house for a meal,\\u2019 that\\u2019s a very powerful invitation.\\u201d By doing so, you might keep a person from harming themself by providing some comforting conversation, perhaps sharing your own struggles and solutions, and if the time feels right, sharing about your relationship with Jesus.'
