Robert Childs: John Locke Foundation Shaftesbury Society luncheon

Robert Childs has served as the North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition's executive director since 2009. He is involved in all program activities including service delivery, program design, innovation and evaluation, resource development, and organizing. Prior to joining NCHRC, Childs served as a program director at Positive Health Project in New York City, where he oversaw health programming, overdose prevention programs, law enforcement relations, harm reduction programs, and led research on the public health effects of people injecting in the public domain. Childs has worked in harm reduction for over 10 years. In this speech, Childs and two other N.C. Harm Reduction Coalition members, Leilani Attilo and Natalie Rich, discuss "Reducing Drug Overdose Deaths Through 911 Good Samaritan Laws and Naloxone Access."
