Joe Stewart is executive director of the N.C. FreeEnterprise Foundation. Prior to joining NCFEF in June 2013, Stewart consulted with corporations and trade associations on issue and political advocacy strategies. He has served as political director at the NC Chamber, executive director of the Insurance Federation of North Carolina, chief deputy state treasurer, and assistant secretary of the N.C.
