On a traditionally warm and sunny final day of the season, The Cobblers went to Barrow and did what they had to do - win comfortably. Unfortunately, Bristol Rovers managed to overturn their goal difference deficit by thrashing Scunthorpe United 7-0 to clinch the third automatic promotion spot. It's a hard one for all of us to take but take it we must as we move on to the play-offs where Mansfield Town await.
